Our History

Gavan-Graham has been producing quality electrical distribution equipment since our start as a custom panelboard shop in 1945. We have continually grown our business over the years, and most recently expanded our manufacturing operations into a modern 50,000 square foot facility in Union, NJ. With over 60 years in the business, Gavan-Graham has provided custom designed electrical equipment to a wide variety of clients in many unique and innovative applications.


Our Clients

Our regular clients include petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and heavy-industrial end users. Our marine division produces custom electrical components of stainless steel and marine-grade aluminum for ocean-front developers. Electrical contractors rely on Gavan-Graham for specialty bus-work and custom-sized enclosures to meet the demands of their critical projects. We also supply custom solutions to clients in critical data facilities, banking & financial institutions, broadcast centers, and commercial facilities throughout the world.


Our People

Gavan-Graham's metalworkers and wiremen are the best in the business, and have been trained in fabricating and wiring custom switchgear and control panels. Our welders are certified in welding and polishing stainless steel and aluminum components. Members of our engineering staff come from a variety of backgrounds, and have experience with both electric utilities and major switchgear manufacturers. We pride ourselves on our people, and their ability to deliver a quality product to our clients.
